I presently have two notebooks. I upgraded recently through a presentation by Automation Quest. They did a presentation for our Bob Parks Realty offices. It is taking a little bit of time to get everything changed over, but I am loving it.
I am three years old in the real estate industry, and I am trying to keep current in as many areas as possible, mainly keeping current through education classes. So far I have earned by GRI and ABR designations and have two CRS classes under my belt. We were also offered a class in new home sales and earned a CSP designation (Certified New Home\ Sales Professional.)
Keep me apprised of any suggestions. I am working on the assistant. So far I am my own and it is driving me up a wall.
I will keep you in mind for referrals to the Greater Cinn. area and would appreciate the same referral to the Greater Middle Tennessee area.

Well!!!.... Finally a Real Estate page that leaves us with our hair, wits and patience intact. ;-) Most enjoyable, to put it mildly. No frantic searching for... well, anything. Very easy to find not only the houses, but the navigation aides as well. Nice and simple (but simple in a GOOD way). All the houses WE looked at had excellent photos, many better than the houses in real life - but that's the key. We wish some of the other Realtors would take the hint!! Mike, you have laid the foundation (pun definitely intended) for a first class house-hunter's paradise. And it will probably only get better!!! Great web site! I am looking to sell our house in Edgewood and buy some land (about 1.5 - 10 acres) to build on with city water (and sewers if possible) unless we find a fairly new house on this much land. We would like to stay in Kenton county but could go to Campbell or Boone county. We like the Independence area as well as Burlington and that direction. Do you know of any land that would fit this bill? (We haven't listed our house yet as we have some improvements we would like to make first.) We would like to build and move in next Spring/Summer (before the 1999/2000 school year starts).

Just in case you miss my posting, I did get an offer on my house finally.
I think the key thing that made it happen was your suggestion to take it
off the market, lower the price and re-list it. I got my asking price of
$119,999.

Dear Mike, 

I just read your Assistant information, and I thought it was great! It made me
think about how valuable Assistants are.

I have been a personal Assitant for three years with a husband and wife team,
and I have recently told them that I wanted to cut my hours back so I can
spend some extra time with my children. 

My hours are currently 9:30 Am to 5:15 Pm. When I first started I was only
working part time, usually 4-5 hours a day. Now, it seems like since I have
made this decision, the anger and selfishness has come out in my boss (the
wife). Instead of thinking, "Hey, we'll still have her for part of the day,
they would rather have no one!" 

Now to me, that is a very selfish attitude to have towards your Assistant.
The person that has been there when they have taken off to Cancun, etc. I
am not licensed, and they never want to get one, for fear of leaving them
and being an Agent. To tell you the truth, being with them has burned me
out on Real Estate and that's a shame!

Do you have any suggestions that would help the situtation get easier??
